VaiBionic

VaiBionic, born Vai Trask, is a force of nature in the contemporary art world; a self-taught visionary whose work is as raw and unapologetic as her life story. Raised on rebellion and creativity, VaiBionic channels fierce passion and authenticity into every piece, creating art that isn’t just seen, but felt. Nothing less than a full-throttle experience that grabs you by the soul and refuses to let go.

Her journey is marked by survival and transformation. In 2017, VaiBionic endured a brutal attack-beaten and thrown from a five-story window while pregnant. Recovery became the crucible that united her with painting, turning trauma into a relentless drive for creative expression. Since emerging onto the scene in 2022, she has exhibited her work constantly, earning critical praise for her bold collision of grit and glamour, hardcore edge, and undeniable allure.

Born of Native Hawaiian and Chicana descent on Kaua'i, VaiBionic’s art is deeply personal. Art as an unfiltered portrayal of beauty uprooted by suffering, resilience, and resurrection. Every brushstroke is a statement: challenging, provoking, and igniting change, rather than decorating walls. Her work is social commentary, a movement, and a memory that shakes the status quo.

Collectors, critics, and fans recognize VaiBionic as one of the most magnetic talents today, drawn to her ability to channel pain into power and survival into spectacle. As she puts it:

“… I’m here to show you what we go through when we survive, how we survive, what we’ve seen, heard, felt and the losses we’ve endured.”

For VaiBionic, art is not a choice. Art is resistance, a resurrection, and a fight for survival in a world where people are dying and desperate to be free.
